The arts hold a special place in a classical Catholic education. At Pope John Paul II Academy, students participate in music, visual arts, and drama as integral parts of their formation. We believe that beauty is a path to God, and that cultivating an appreciation for the fine arts enriches the whole person.
Our music program introduces students to the rich tradition of sacred music. Students develop their voices and musical understanding through music class, regular participation in school Masses, and performances.
Choral Music
Students participate in choral singing, including sacred music for school Masses and performances.
Visual Arts
Drawing, painting, and appreciation of great works of art from the Catholic and Western tradition.
Drama
Students develop confidence and communication skills through theatrical performance.
